Not a great shot of the Commando in my garage…but it’s a rider. I just have 45,000 miles on it and haven’t done any major work yet. 13,000 of those were back in 1976 when I bought it in Phoenix AZ and road all over the place…including through the desert (which after 3 fork seal replacements, I quit doing that)

    Hi all,

Here is the beast.  The best of British.  A working mans bike.  An 82 Triumph TSS with Amals instead of the Bing P.O.S. carbies that were shipped to the statesI also pulled off the electric start as it was also an afterthought as far as the workings were imprecise and unpredictable at best!  Everything else is original, oh yeah except the exhaust pipes and the fried electronics that were in the bike when I purchased it. . . many moons ago.  No thanks to Randy Baxter.

    Greetings.

Here is my pride and joy, purchased a couple of weeks ago. It’s a 1959 Super Rocket. My last bike (some 10 years ago) was a Honda VFR 800 so I am constantly having to remind myself that the gear change is on the right and the brake on the left!)
